"The development of SME sector"

SOOIPP annual conference

Join us at XXIX Annual SOOIPP Conference „Development of companies of SME sector - methods - instruments - results”, which will be held on 23-25 ​​May 2018 in Kazimierz Dolny upon the Vistula river. This year's Conference is organised together with the Puławy Science and Technology Park.

The aim of the conference is to discuss active support for the development of companies from the SME sector by the business support institutions and to works out recommendations for activities that will disposition of companies to act for their own development.

The main topics of the conference will be issues related to the creation and development of innovative enterprises. The last two years of implementation of economic policy and the distribution of structural funds indicate new challenges that will have to be taken up to achieve the envisioned results of the development of Polish enterprises. Innovation and entrepreneurship centres can and should be an important element of support for enterprises from the SME sector in their development. We want to raise topics related to both start-ups and acceleration of innovative projects as well as those related to the conditions necessary for the development of enterprises from the SME sector. There will also be examples of foreign good practices in this area.

Polish and foreign managers, experts from the business sector, innovation and entrepreneurship centres as well as representatives of local and regional government and public administration will take part in the Conference.

Already for the eighth time, award ceremony to the winners of the InnoFirma "Park Eagles" contest organised by SOOIPP will accompany the event.

In addition to debates and panel discussions, we have planned thematic workshop sessions to improve the competences in innovation and entrepreneurship centres.

This year's Conference will also have a scientific aspect. We invite authors of doctoral theses to submit presentations based on the results of research conducted on innovation and entrepreneurship centres. Scientific guidance over the session devoted to this subject was taken by pp. prof. Piotr Niedzielski and prof. Dariusz Trzmielak.

The second session will be devoted practices of company development support by innovation centres. Authors of the most interesting presentations in both session will receive awards form the organisers. All authors are invited to publish articles based on their presentations in "SOOIPP Annual 2018".

We believe that your presence at the XXIX SOOIPP Conference will bring new contacts, exchange interesting experiences and will be an inspiration for joint undertakings for innovative activities in your institutions.
